UK-HK/China bilateral - a government policy view from each side

Date: Monday 11th March

Time: Doors open from 6.30pm; seminar 7pm-8pm, networking drinks/ canapés 8-9.30pm

Venue: Clifford Chance, London

With war coverage dominating the news, it seems that China has been relegated to the sidelines, generally covered by the MSM in simplistic soundbites, lacking all nuance and depth. Yet ignoring the what’s happening in China and the UK’s bilateral relationship with the world’s second largest economy would be a mistake.

To cover all perspectives, our panel of expert HK/ China watchers will offer us nuance, depth and a range of viewpoints including:

•    A global overview from a UK perspective from the China team of the Tony Blair Institute – a think tank close to Keir Stamer’s Labour party (https://www.institute.global/)

•    Analysis of how China views Britain (& the US) from think tank, Trivium China (https://triviumchina.com/)
