Yes, it is struggling from retail competition from across the border - everyone knows that HKers now do even their grocery shopping in Shenzhen, but there remain many positives, especially in the professional services sector. Our panellists, led by the incomparable José Maurellet, will give their best insights, drawn from on the ground experience, into how the role of HK’s legal system is developing within the GBA, China’s growth engine and the Asia Pac region more broadly, and examine what potential risks there may be to its robust legal system for businesses.
