Regional Lunch in Gloucestershire

Last year we held a rather delightful lunch to celebrate the start of the Year of the Tiger. The venue was a Chinese Restaurant in Winchcombe St, Cheltenham, which I then described thus:

Pretty much everyone who’s lived in HK had a favourite small Chinese restaurant which was a block or so off a main road, neither posh (nor expensive) but with really pleasant staff, reliably delicious and relatively authentic food - a good place both to drop into after a long day and to take visitors.  Well, an approximation to that favourite exists in Cheltenham.

Given that it worked deliciously well last year, and given that Martin Reynolds has volunteered to assist with arrangements, we have decided to organise a second visit ........... and have set a date.

The venue is pretty intimate (ie small), so members of the HK Society in and around Gloucestershire will have a short period of priority booking before the opportunity is opened to local non-members and to members from further afield. Once we’ve got takers for all available seats, we shall maintain a waiting list, in order of application, in case of drop-outs.

We shall look forward to hearing from you, and to seeing a goodly proportion of you on 19 April. It will be fun, tasty and other good adjectives.

To register to attend, please contact Fiona at communications@hkas.org.uk.

Best Wishes,

Alastair Scott, Glos Regional Convenor
