This December, Sotheby’s Old Masters series will present an exceptional selection of works spanning the 15th to 19th centuries. Among the many highlights of our highly anticipated Old Master & 19th Century Paintings Evening Auction are Pieter Brueghel the Younger’s Census at Bethlehem, an enchanting large-scale winter scene, and Hans Eworth’s commanding portrait of Thomas Howard, 4th Duke of Norfolk, which is coming to market from the Rothschild collection. We look forward to welcoming visitors to our galleries beginning November 28.
