We are delighted to inform you that The Honourable Paul CHAN Mo-po, GBM, GBS, MH, JP, Financial Secretary of the Government of the Hong Kong SAR has kindly agreed to address our members and answer questions at the next HK Association Membership Lunch at one of London’s world class hotels.

We are immensely pleased to have this great opportunity to hear directly from such an important member of the HKSAR government on the economic outlook for Hong Kong focusing specifically on the enormous potential for Hong Kong within the context of the incredibly vibrant, fast-developing economic powerhouse of the Greater Bay Area. The Hong Kong Association Committee look forward to welcoming Mr Chan, many other visiting colleagues from Hong Kong, Hong Kong Association members and members of the China-Britain Business Council to this event.

A Certified Public Accountant, Mr Chan is a former President of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Before joining the Government, Mr Chan held a number of public service positions, including member of the Legislative Council and Chairman of Legal Aid Services Council, as well as serving as Secretary for Development from July 2012 to January 2017. He has been Financial Secretary since 2017.
