Gloucestershire Region Chinese New Year Lunch

This event is now fully booked. Please get in touch with the office via the email address below, if you would like to be on the waiting list or to be added to the mailing list to be the first to hear about events in Gloucestershire.

The HK Society’s London Chinese New Year Dinner will be on Wednesday 28th February. However, if you are unable to get to London, there is now an attractive fall-back option

On 10 February, the Rabbit moves over and gives pride of place to the powerful and auspicious Dragon, so what could be more appropriate than a return trip (for many members) to The Golden Mountain Restaurant in Cheltenham – particularly as it worked exceptionally well back in April!?

Date: Wednesday 28th February

Venue: Golden Mountain Restaurant, 63 Winchcombe St, Cheltenham, GL52 2NE

Cost: £35 members / £43 non-members

The venue is pretty intimate (ie small), so members of the HK Society who live in and around Gloucestershire or who have attended our events previously will have a short period of priority booking before the opportunity is opened to local non-members and to members from further afield. Once I’ve got takers for all available seats, I will maintain a waiting list, in order of application, in case of drop-outs.

Do make a special effort to come if you were a Dragon baby, not least because of the strong leadership abilities associated with those born in this year!

I shall look forward to hearing from you, and to seeing a substantial proportion of you on 28 Feb. It will be fun, delicious and other good adjectives – it always is!
