We are delighted that the Directors of Bonhams have most kindly invited members to a bespoke specialist-led tour of selected highlights of the sales of their Marquee CLASSICS Week in New Bond Street on Sunday 28th June with two options, either:
Tour One: 12:15-13:00

You will be able to handle some of the masterpieces of art on view and learn from the lead-specialists in each area about the extraordinary history behind the items.
Covering over 3000 years of artistic excellence with works from recent single-owner collections to royalty, the series offers remarkable breadth across ceramics, clocks, Old Master paintings, antiquities and fine decorative arts. These incredible artefacts range from an Egyptian painted funerary linen square for Ta-Nedjem (estimate of £200,000–300,000) to an exceptional burr walnut longcase clock by Thomas Tompion, London (estimate of £150,000–250,000); a pair of watercolours by J.M.W. Turner RA (1775–1851), depicting Schloss Rhäzüns, distant view (estimate £350,000–550,000) and Schloss Rhäzüns, near view (estimate £300,000–500,000); a rare and impressive Greek icon by Georgios Klontzas, depicting the Fall and Redemption of Man (the Spada Triptych) (estimate £100,000-150,000) and many more.
